BCCC v Old Priorians (away)
BCCC 2019 season : Played - 4 , Wins - 3 , Lost - 1 , Rained off - 1 , Draws - 0
BCCC 238 in 35 overs beat Old Priorians CC by 54 runs
Debutant - Vikram for scoring 36 valuable runs and taking 1 wicket in his 1st over .
Away Toss - No surprise but the Barnes Captain lost it again & and BCCC were put in to bat on a slow damp wicket !!

Weather - Lovely sunny summers day .
Last match against them in 2018 ended with BCCC losing by 7 wickets as OP chased down 208 easily.
BCCC batting - Nik and Graeme opened with Chris at 3 but all 3 were skittled out for 4 runs by the 3 rd over by OP's opening pair of Jack and Wass . The pitch was damp to start with and became a bit better as the sun dried it up.
So with BCCC 4 for 3 Sanjay and Hasan consolidated with a partnership of 101 runs before Sanjay was out for a quick 86 trying to hit another boundary!! BCCC were 105 for 4 in the 16 over. Hasan and Phil consolidated further to take the score to
142 before Phil was out for 14 with Hasan followed soon LBW for 36 well made runs. Hamza and debutant Vikram joined forces and added 61 runs to take BCCC up to 211 for 8 in the 30th over . Hamza played very well for his 47 and hit some lovely boundaries especially a huge six over long on . Vikram ended up with 36 runs in the end. With Mo running himself out Adi was left not out in the 34th over. Thanks to a great recovery from the middle order BCCC ended up with a decent score of 226 in the end.
Batting figures - Nik - 4, Graeme - 0, Chris - 0 , Sanjay - 86 , Hasan 36, Phil - 11 , Hamza - 47, Nisar - 0 , Vikram - 36 , Mo- 1 , Adi - n.o.
Stand out bowlers for OP's were the opening pair of Jack and Wass who took BCCC's top 3 wickets and left us reeling with the score on 4 for 3.

OP batting - requiring 227 to win OP started poorly as Hamza and Graeme claimed a wicket each and got rid of both openers by the 8th over with their score on 32. Whilst Spanswick 38 , Codrington 44 and Hawe 34 were at the crease the game could have gone either way as they were scoring freely but then our ever resourceful off spinner Mo was introduced and ended up taking 5 wickets to stifle the opposition and once Mo had the above three out there was little opposition left especially after Adi and Vikram
claimed the last wickets between themselves. BCCC won easily at the end by 54 runs at the end of the 29th over.
Bowling figures :- Hamza - 7 - 0- 24-1 , Graeme - 7-0-36-1 , Mo - 7-0-46-5 , Chris - 4-1-26-0 Hasan -3-0-29-0 , Adi - 2 -0-6-1 , Vikram - 1-0-3-1 .
Conclusion - Just shows the depth of BCCC players talents so well done for a good win .
Man of the Match - Joint ones this week . Hamza for his responsible innings of 47 and great bowling effort & Mo for his 1st 5 wicket haul for BCCC in a long while.
Stumpings of the match - Phil at his best again and claiming 2 crucial stumpings .
Shot of the day - Hamza for his bigger than any six his brother Zef has ever hit over long on !!!
Embarrassing moment/s - no major drama's besides some players turning up late !!
